The clients' upright piano was embraced — a keeper of memories and a maker of new ones, for a family that loves music as much as they love gathering together.

A living room that works for one should work for twelve. In this Briarcliff Manor Colonial, Claudia Giselle Design transformed a long, narrow room into three distinct seating areas — unified by a one-of-a-kind hand-tufted Persian wool rug that spans the length of the room.

The remodeled fireplace — wood mantle, travertine stone face, and limestone hearth — anchors the room with classical authority. Flanking it on either side, two custom sideboards conceived by Claudia Giselle Design and handcrafted in Italy ground the space with warmth and intention. New crown moldings and Belgian linen drapery complete the composition, honoring the Colonial architecture of this Westchester home.

Some collections are purchased. This one was lived. A Hudson Valley art collection gathered over a lifetime anchors this Briarcliff Manor living room and informs every design decision within it.

At the center of it all: a custom expandable dining table that seats up to twelve without sacrificing an inch of elegance. Every chair, every surface, every material was chosen with intention — because in a Claudia Giselle Design interior, nothing is accidental.

Grasscloth walls and a hand-painted ceiling create a layered, textural envelope that feels at once sophisticated and deeply livable. A custom antique mirror draws the eye while amplifying light and depth. Alabaster lamps cast a warm glow across the room, and a bespoke cabinet — conceived and crafted exclusively for this home by Claudia Giselle Design — grounds the space with both purpose and personality. An agate centerpiece bowl and floral silk drapery complete the composition with organic richness and quiet drama.

The best dining rooms don't just accommodate a meal — they set the stage for memory-making. In this Briarcliff Manor Colonial, Claudia Giselle Design transformed an underutilized space into an award-winning room that moves effortlessly between an intimate family dinner and a gathering of twelve.

At the center of it all — a reclaimed wood movable island in the family's signature blue. Practical, personal, and entirely one of a kind. Natural woven Roman shades soften the windows while a cheerful eating nook with vintage pop art advertising prints completes a kitchen that is as full of personality as the family who cooks in it.

The best kitchen renovations don't just change how a kitchen looks — they change how a home functions. In this Briarcliff Manor Colonial, Claudia Giselle Design reconfigured the entire footprint — closing a door, opening a window into a door — transforming a closed galley into an open, light-filled U-shaped kitchen that finally works the way a family actually lives.

Two-tone cabinetry establishes a palette that is at once classic and unexpected. A mother of pearl and dolomite backsplash catches the light with quiet iridescence, while glass-front upper cabinets display the family's treasured pieces with intention. Thermador appliances and a glass countertop bring professional-grade performance to a space that never sacrifices beauty for function.

The powder room is the smallest room in the house and the one guests remember longest. In this Briarcliff Manor Colonial, Claudia Giselle Design treated it accordingly — as an opportunity for pure, confident design with nowhere to hide.

Bold black and white abstract wallpaper commands every wall, grounded by painted wood wainscoting in deep black. A marble herringbone floor, brass-framed mirror, and oil rubbed bronze sconce layer warmth and contrast against the graphic backdrop. The marble pedestal sink and black fixtures complete a composition that is graphic, glamorous, and entirely intentional.

Small in footprint. Enormous in impact.

A bathroom renovation is ultimately an act of intention — a decision to treat the everyday with the same care as the exceptional. In this Briarcliff Manor Colonial, Claudia Giselle Design reimagined every square inch, relocating both the toilet and vanity to unlock a layout that feels expansive, serene, and entirely deliberate.

Carrara marble tile and a marble mosaic border floor establish a foundation of quiet luxury, while a grasscloth wallcovering introduces warmth and texture — a softness that stone alone cannot offer. Custom floor-to-ceiling cabinetry with glass fronts provides generous storage without sacrificing elegance. A full-wall mirror amplifies light and visually opens the room, flanked by polished chrome sconces that cast an even, flattering glow.

The frameless glass shower enclosure preserves clean sightlines throughout, its half-wall thoughtfully concealing the toilet upon entry. A Hudson Valley artwork — a nod to the clients' beloved art collection — hangs between the shower and cabinetry, a reminder that in a Claudia Giselle Design interior, even a bathroom is a considered space.

A rich blue accent wall anchors the room with confidence, its depth shifting beautifully against the changing light of the Hudson Valley seasons visible through the window. Symmetrical mirrors with warm wood frames flank the bed on either side, amplifying light while reinforcing the quiet balance that defines the entire composition. Custom nightstands in natural wood — designed by Claudia Giselle — ground the palette with organic warmth, paired with ceramic table lamps and wall-mounted reading sconces — every detail considered for both beauty and the rhythms of daily life.

Patterned drapery in a graphic print frames the windows with personality, while a woven area rug and cane bench at the foot of the bed introduce layers of texture that invite you to slow down. A globe pendant anchors the ceiling with a modern, sculptural moment — the finishing touch that makes the room feel complete.

A bedroom should feel like a destination, not an afterthought. In this Briarcliff Manor Colonial, Claudia Giselle Design created a room that is at once bold and deeply restful — a personal retreat that reflects the character and warmth of the family who lives there.

The most quietly ingenious feature is the fold-down desk — a workspace that reveals itself only when called upon. Designed for a client who occasionally needs a quiet place to work, it offers a beautifully appointed place to focus that appears when needed and disappears when the day is done — without dedicating a single square foot to a home office. In a Claudia Giselle Design interior, storage is never an afterthought — it is part of the architecture.

The most successful interiors don't just look beautiful — they work beautifully. In this Briarcliff Manor Colonial, Claudia Giselle Design conceived a floor-to-ceiling custom built-in cabinetry wall that transforms how the family lives, works, and moves through their home.

Designed with the precision of bespoke furniture, the built-in integrates a media center, generous drawer storage, open display shelving, and concealed cabinetry into a single, seamless architectural statement. A textile-backed niche frames the television with warmth and intention, elevating what could have been a purely functional element into a considered design detail.
